Hey, beautiful friend!
It’s only week two of the quarantine, and you’ve probably already run out of ideas to keep your kids and yourself busy. The more the days pass, the more the time seems to mush together and become one big mush.
So, to navigate through this Social Distance time, I’ve created the ultimate quarantine guide for moms to make the most out of this short season. I cover things you can do with your child and things you can do for yourself, recipes, blogs, podcasts, and more.
I know so many of us, moms, are worried about how our lives will be affected and how our lifestyle is going change after this.
Honestly, I’ve had to force myself to surrender all my fears and cast all my worries to Jesus. He is good at His job, and we can trust that He will help us get through this.
For this guide, I’ve tried to make sure everything is still available on Amazon because, hello, “social distance.” Ain’t nobody got time for getting COVID-19.
Here it is.
First things first, the kids. Try not to stress so much about keeping them busy. It’s ok if they have more screen time, but it’s also ok for them to be bored. Boredom leads to creativity. Let your kids run outside or even start playing with those toys they got for Christmas. You know, the ones they only played with once.
Kids don’t need extra stuff to play. They just need the basics. Here are some of my favorite kids’ activities to keep them entertained for hours.
Something fun that will get you and your kids moving are games. Sometimes we forget how fun games can be and how much they serve to bring us closer. If you need a little help coming up with games to play, here is a list of classic games for children.
- The Floor is Lava
- Hide and Seek
- Tug of War
- Simon Says
- Chinese Whisper
- I Spy
- Rock Paper Scissors
- Follow the Leader
- Jumping Rope
- Marco Polo
- Tic Tac Toc
- London Bridge

Books to Read
I got to be honest. Reading is not my forte. I don’t necessarily enjoy it, but I married a literal book worm. So, I could say it’s more like an acquired taste. Also, leaders are readers. And I want to pass that on to my kids. So, here are some of the books that have helped me become a better mom, wife, and leader.
Quarantine is the perfect time to get yourself on a cleaning routine. With everyone in the house, it can get chaotic pretty quickly, and that usually makes things so much worst for our spirt. So here is a cute and straightforward cleaning schedule that will help you keep your house in order.

If there was ever a time to pray, that time is now. Make sure you are staying connected to the one who knows it all. If you don’t, fear and worry will have their way with you.

Bible verses memorizing
I may not be the best cook in the world, mainly because my husband is a simple man that prefers his meals with no more than three ingredients, but I am very resourceful.
So here, I have linked some of my favorite simple yummy recipes that I’m sure will be a crowd pleaser.
I was never into podcasts before, until one day, I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to play one in hopes that it would help me fall asleep. It worked! Lol, But it also opened this whole new world for me. Now, I’m obsessed with podcasts. I love to listen to them in the shower, while I fold clothed, or while I cook. Here are some of my absolute favorites.
